Today's draw is in response to the question: "What is the one thing I must remember as I seek the path on my own spiritual journey?" We will draw a single card to represent the guidance of Freya/Frigg/Venus on this day, Friday, a day sometimes seen to be unlucky, but astrologically linked to the planet Venus and philosophically to the ideas of rest, love, and beauty. So--how can we draw those things into our lives and open up a more positive path for our soul journey this day?
Again today, in the "mixed draw" I use, we've pulled a card from the Faery-Fire Oracle. This one represents the wisdom of the Elders, especially that which comes to us from ancestral memory, dreams and meditation, and the intuitive faculty of seeking the Shadow Self. We are being reminded that one of the best ways to follow our path to a glorious end is to listen, to pay attention, to remember, and to understand that sometimes the best way to get to where we want to go is to take a detour. Not so fast, Padawan...slow down, meditate, ask your Spirit Guide, who is the concatenation of all your prior Selves, what is the best way to find the Gift of rest and love and joy and beauty. And then--baby steps. Stop, pause, look, listen. And remember that sometimes the biggest truths come in the smallest packages. So--walk in beauty, and have a Freya-blessed day!
